Hey Yall!!
I’m alive & well in Haiti :] I just wanted to thank you all for your prayers for safe travel and prayers for my anxiousness. I am safe and no longer have worries about anything! The Lord has truly shown out because He has put me with the best group of interns for this summer! I just wanted to let yall know a little bit about Mission of Hope’s visions for the year 2015. Since our church, Frazer, has partnered with MOH for the MOH 500 homes project I will give you some information about that project.

After the earth quake in 2010, the land in
Leveque was given to MOH to have. The first four homes were built in January
2011. Each house is deeded to one family and they can live in it for debt free.
The way that each family pays for their house is by buying water and solar
lighting. It is around $6,000 for one house in Leveque. All the homes that are
built in Leveque are built by Haitian workers.
Ø
The new church at Leveque, which will be
breaking ground soon, will sit around 500 people and will have plans for
expanding when needed. The church will be structured so that any deaf person
can sit anywhere within the church and be able to see their interpreter.
Ø
For 2015, MOH is planning on building a school
and having a soccer field with bleachers.
LOVE YOU :]
